Your role:

As an R&D Project Specialist in Cosmetics, you play a crucial role in our company and contribute to the development and innovation of our cosmetic products. You work closely with the R&D team and are responsible for designing, formulating, and testing new cosmetic products, taking into account regulations and effectiveness.

Your responsibilities include designing and optimizing innovative formulations while considering market trends and customer needs. Testing and analysis are also an important part of your role, ensuring the stability and safety of our products.

Internal and external collaboration and communication are key. You will work closely with the R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Production teams, participate in project meetings, and communicate with ingredient suppliers and external partners to explore new opportunities. In collaboration with the Production team, you ensure an efficient transition of formulations from laboratory to industrial scale. Naturally, it is important that you stay up to date with technological and regulatory developments in the cosmetics field.

​What we ask of you:

• At least 3 years of experience in cosmetic formulation (non-negotiable)

• Experience with “white” cosmetics (e.g. shampoo, hygiene products, standard products such as gels and emulsions)

• Experience as a formulator

• Knowledge of cosmetic regulations (EC 1223/2009)

• Commercial mindset: a technical project manager capable of managing multiple projects

• Ability to conduct laboratory research and perform analysis

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
